For a decade, alt-rock phenom The Boxer Rebellion have been turning heads globally as a band known and admired for not sticking to the rule book. “This band can alter your life,” said the UK’s NME Magazine, referring to the incredibly epic and ambitious, yet intimate and melodic nature of the band’s musical output. Following a tumultuous time being signed to Universal Records, the band set out on their own following the release of their debut album ‘Exits’ and made history in 2009, on the release of their sophomore album ‘Union’ by becoming the first unsigned band to ever break the Billboard Top 100 albums chart on a digital-only release. That same album was crowned iTunes’ Alternative Album of the Year, and was followed by a feature film appearance alongside Drew Barrymore, and SNL’s Justin Long, Charlie Day, and Jason Sudeikis in the film ‘Going the Distance’ – widely regarded as the most prominent featured performance of a band in motion picture history. The band finally received their network TV debut courtesy of David Letterman, upon the release of 2011’s highly acclaimed ‘The Cold Still’ produced by award-winning record producer Ethan Johns.
May 2013 sees the release of the band’s much-anticipated 4th studio album. Moving away from the more analog and darker soundscapes that enveloped the band’s previous, Promises is a significant step in a different direction for the London four-piece – a more hi-fi, and soaring work that truly delivers on the band’s widescreen, signature sound.

British-German DJ/producer Lars Moston from Berlin is a solo artist as well as one half of Moston & Malente. He also regularly collaborates with Teenage Mutants (Off Rec. / Stil Vor Talent) and Ben Mono (Plant Music / Compost). You can find his tracks and remixes on labels such as No Brainer, Top Billin, Audio Safari, Moveltraxx, Wearhouse, Coco Machete, Moonbootique and Discobelle, among others.
2011 was a big year for Lars with three original releases to his name, all of them reaching the German Club Chart top 10 and collecting big love from influential names across the globe. The “Too Much Party Time EP”, released on Malente’s label No Brainer Records and coming with a crazy video, got heaps of praise with DJ support coming from the likes of A-Trak and Congorock. Before that, the “Can’t Stop / People EP” on Top Billin, alongside fellow Berliner Ben Mono, had such diverse supporters as Zombie Nation, Crookers, Mason, His Majesty Andre, Stereo MCs and Tepr. And hot on the heels of this heavy slab of house music was “Organik”, released by Coco Machete from New York City, it followed in the anthemic footsteps of “So Sick”, which was picked up by BBC Radio One before ripping up countless festivals.
2012 saw Lars team up with Ben Mono yet again for the Woodpecker EP on Tracy Recordings from Spain and a new Lars Moston solo release, the “Payday EP”, has just come out on Audio Safari. Both releases are doing the rounds as we speak with support coming from DJ Feadz, Flore, Acid Pauli, Yousef and many more.
Moston & Malente have been big in the game ever since their first release “In the Sky” on Hamburg-based Moonbootique Rec. became a worldwide club hit back in 2004. Since then, the duo has put out a whole bunch of massive tracks – their brand new “Booty EP” on No Brainer hits the virtual shelves in February 2013.
Lars also loves remixing, which he has been doing to great acclaim. Among the artists getting the Moston treatment have been Teenage Mutants, Smalltown DJs, Human Resource, Tony Senghore, DJ Wool, Si Begg, Jay Robinson & Supabeatz, Fort Knox 5, The Raveonettes and The Sneekers, to name a few.
When DJing, Lars Moston mixes up a unique blend of cutting edge House, ranging from deeper grooves to outright bangers, time and place permitting. Always combining forward- thinking track selection with dance floor functionality, Lars has raised roofs from San Francisco to Siberia with his own brand of positive party sound.

By fusing together elements of gum-snapping pop, electronic dance beats, and thoughtfully selected fashion, Big Hamm (Stephen Hamm of Copyright) and Lil Hamm (Robert Dayton of July Fourth Toilet) have toured the world for the last three years. From New York City to Sydney, Australia, Montreal and Los Angeles, Canned Hamm have been bringing down the house with their pointed lyrics and urban glam rump shakers.
To date, the Vancouver legend that is Canned Hamm has released two ass shakin’ albums. Karazma! (2001) was crowned with five stars by Canada’s main industry rag Chart magazine. The tribute album, Karazma!:Reimagined (2003) featured a glut of extraordinary talent including Carolyn Mark, Destroyer, The New Pornographers, Frenzal Rhomb and Neil Hamburger.
Their first music video, “Father and Son”, hit #2 on the national music television network Musique Plus show DollaraClip and was also voted the “Best Video of 2002″ by Nardwuar the Human Serviette on MuchMusic’s Going Coastal. Down under, it received medium rotation on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s weekly video show Fly T.V.
Throughout their illustrious career, Canned Hamm have shared the stage with such luminary acts as Canada’s very own Peaches, The New Pornographers and most loyally alongside Neil Hamburger. After storming the City of Angels, the normally verbose L.A Weekly could only mumble: “(It was) something.”
Armed with two microphones, pre-recorded backing tracks, a razor sharp sense of humour and the infectious beats of Erotic Thriller, Canned Hamm are destined to be crowned the Clown Prince’s of Electronic Dance Music.

Justin is a 20 year old DJ and Producer out of Los Angeles, California. He stumbled into the world of house music at the age of 8 with Daft Punk’s Discovery, after studying classical piano for several years. He got his first big break in 2010 when he won a DJ contest sponsored by DJ Mag. Justin was invited to play at the 2010 DJ Mag Top 100 party in London, opening for Afrojack, Laidback Luke, Fedde Le Grand and others, but could not perform because he was under 18.
Off the momentum from the contest, Justin landed an apprenticeship at Atlantic Records with DJ Frank E working on dance-infused pop and hip-hop. With a true calling for raunchy tech house, Justin is back to making all sorts of strange electronic music within the underground scene of the industry.
